It’s what you call a semi blind date. Starbucks for coffee, first “in real life meeting” after having seen photos of each other via Facebook. He walked in, full of confidence, so sure he would be debonair and sweep her off her feet. That is until he saw her face, and he was love struck. Fumbled with his words, prayed she didn’t run away. At that moment even he believed in fairy tales, love at first sight, and the age old “the stars have aligned” and all is well feeling.

She all the while was falling head over heels in love with this tall dark handsome man. She knew instantly that he was the one she would marry. There was no doubt in her heart. Real true love is like that. Powerful, passionate, and undeniable real. Conversation flowed easy between them that night, they talked for hours. Amid giggles and laughter a new love was born and the heavens above smiled.

Their love story is one of those that makes me want to watch romantic movies and cry,  sing songs like “Just one look” or better yet “I will run to you” in a country styled Whitney Houston impression. It reminds me that life with out love is a life unlived. It is never easy to take a chance or risk your heart to pain, but in a moment, just a single glance, it can all be worth it. Because true love is real, it’s the singing dancing animals that are the actual fairy tale.
