The Daugereaux Duo. These two, let me tell you, they are just so perfect together. The joy and laughter that flowed through this session just fed my soul. It’s a fun and confusing thing, to spend time with a couple, working and capturing their love through my lens, and realizing when we are done I feel like I have not even worked yet.
Taylor & Trey chose to capture their engagements at Pecan Coteau, their wedding venue location. Since he is a fishing and hunting guide and she is a lover of all things fishing & hunting, the woodsy outdoors feel of the Pecan Coteau land gave the perfect feel for their beautiful session.
I sent the final gallery link not knowing they were sitting in the stands of a World Series game. Taylor told me how Trey just sat and looked through the gallery saying over and over how he had never liked photos until these. Meanwhile I felt bad for distracting from the game! Sometimes I think that is my real human superpower……. capturing normal, unsure, people who think they are terrible in front of the camera…and then making them see themselves as I do….maybe even as the world does.
Taylor and Trey, it has truly been my honor to get to know you both and capture your love. I simple can not wait for the wedding this year and all the joy that will surely surround the day. And especially you two……..finally being Mr. & Mrs. Simply the best. For sure.
