She clings to her dad’s hand as he walks her down the aisle, emotions overwhelming her, tears gathering in her eyes. Not because she is nervous or scared…..no because this man at the end of the aisle has had her heart. You can see it in the way he simply respects her, how gentle he is, yet how he loves the fun side of them as a couple also. There are so many small gestures that say it all, without a single word being spoken. It was a wedding day to behold.
The day was bright and beautiful. Clear, yet not overly hot, definitely one of those Louisiana wedding days we cherish before the hot days of summer. The Magnolia House was decorated with greenery and white roses. Simple elegance, classic style, with a beauty all it’s on. A forever favorite of mine, the understated elegance type of day. Megan and her bridesmaids looked stunning. A mix of beautiful blush pink dresses from House of Wu let each of her ladies shine in style.
From the moving first look with her dad, to the faux first look with Josh and his best man, the tears at the end of the aisle when they finally held hands, all the way through the moves heating up the dance floor, it was an amazing night to be a part of.
Megan & Josh,
It is always my biggest honor to capture a love story like yours. What a beautiful and fun group of friends & family you both have. I pray you are blessed to continue to laugh and grow together for many, many, years to come. May your dreams always be achieved and your joy always grow. May you find beauty in each day and always have more than you need. Congratulations again!!!
Much love!
