The clouds played peek-a-boo with the sun and the wind kept the heat at bay. It was the perfect day for Jessica & Daron’s wedding at the Lod Cook Alumni Center on the LSU campus in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.  I met Jessica when I had the joy of capturing her older sister’s wedding. Joanna got married on Jessica’s birthday and Jessica was married on her gorgeous grandmother’s 80^th birthday. What a beautiful legacy, of strong woman in this amazing family, who honor each other.

From the magical First Look, to the joy that lead to laughter and happy tears during the vows, to the absolute fun on the dance floor at the reception, I simply loved Jessica & Daron’s wedding. It of course was simply beautiful, but more than that, the people who surrounded their day where so amazing. There was just so much joy and happiness in the air, it made the day flow with such a beautiful atmosphere. It is always such a pleasure to work with the same family more than once. It feels like seeing old friends again.

You are just beautiful together. It’s the way he looked at you when you finally joined hands at the end of the aisle. It was like you were the only person there in a church full of family and friends. Like the Earth stopped in that moment and he had finally come home. I bet there will be a life time of those looks to come. The love you have for each other is so sweet and beautiful. I pray you are always able to laugh and joy always brightens each day. Let life be a journey and each other’s arms the destination at the end of each day. Be blessed beyond measure.
