Amanda & Micheal’s wedding was stunning with its hints of Gray and bold emerald-green. I think what I love most about these two is the way they laugh together. The joy they have together is a beautiful thing that shines like the sun. It’s so easy to see the love they have for each other and that gives me so much joy. I think things I love kind of go in this order, God, Family, my job. I’m weird, I know, hahaha. They had a beautiful, moving ceremony at St. Genevieve Catholic church where Father Gary Schexnayder joined them together as man and wife. I wish I could remember some of the things he spoke on, but I do remember tearing up so it was for sure spoken from the heart. The bridesmaids wore gorgeous emerald-green dresses while the groomsmen donned Gray suits. The combination was perfection!
The bouquets were a mix of Antiqued white garden roses, white anemone, white hydrangea, and silver dollar eucalyptus. Amanda has style ya’ll!!!! The grooms cake gave way to his love of the game. Football that is, with a stylish cake bringing together Michael’s love of The Saints & The Ragin Cajuns. The bridal cake was an elegant 5 tier Bourbon vanilla cake with raspberry filling. It was dressed in gold leaf, emerald color, and cascading wafer paper roses. I seriously sometimes hate having a milk allergy. Sometimes I wonder…is it worth the epi pen? This one came close guys!
The reception followed at the Paul & Lulu Hillard Art Museum. It’s beautiful architecture and vibe were just what Amanda & Michael were looking for to accent their day. Their family and friends showed them with love and joy. Guest signed there names and messages to the couple on and locked them to a frame made in tribute to the love lock bridge in Paris. Amanda and Michael have a love of travel and longing to see new places together so this was a very special gift for them. Amanda’s Chi omega sisters gathered around her on the dance floor to sing the traditional song “Chi Omega Yours Forever” and celebrate her being a new wife. I love how special moments like this live through the years. This was such an amazing time with a huge group of awesome people who made me feel at home and made me enjoy my job even more.
Amanda & Michael,
I pray you are both so blessed as you walk through life on this journey. May the dark days turn bright in the glow of your joy and laughter. Every dream you pursue, may the door open at God’s will and you be blessed to over flowing with abundance and light. May you always be remembered in love by all those you meet, and may you grow to a very wise age holding each others hand.
Much Love to you both!!!
