Avery Island’s Jungle Gardens was gorgeous the day of Amanda and Brad’s Engagement session…but to be honest, Amanda and Brad shined more. This session was one of the rare times that my wonderful friend and sister in heart was my assistant, and while she is less in love with love than I, even she found the love between Amanda & Brad to be sweet and adorable.

It was more than just the way he smiled when he looked at her…it was the way they laughed together….the way she all but glowed with how much she knew she was loved. They joked and laughed, kissed and hugged, and most of all they just made me love them a little, for the way they were with each other. It was such a beautiful thing…..and I was reminded one more time why I choose to do this job…..or why it chose me. I LOVE love and people who are in love, choose to love. I believe in the force of love, the healing power of love, the hope in love and the heartache of love that creates and pushes us to be better and to grow.  Couples like Amanda and Brad just lead me to believe in love all the more.
