Her dress stole the show. It hung on the doorway, unassuming, beautiful, elegant, and simply breathtaking. I photographed this stunning gown in all its beauty, never knowing until the moment she put it on, that it had been lovingly made but her sweet and beautiful mother. Love was in every stitch, every seam, every gentle beautiful piece, made by love and given from the heart. The whole day was made, designed, and created in just such a fashion, and although it did rain, and some plans had to be changed and shifted, there was no detouring the beauty of these two sweet souls becoming husband and wife.
Sometimes things are not perfect and there is a beauty to the imperfection………a gentle opening of doors as one might say, a glance of a different path that is no less beautiful and no less amazing. If any wedding day has gone to show this, prove this, that love can conquer, this day did just that……and it was an amazing thing to witness.
