Niki and Michael are one of the sweetest couples I have ever had the joy of working with for their Engagement session. I love their love story and just had to share it with you all.

From Nikki…….Michael and I meet online through a website called Plenty of Fish; we can’t remember who reached out to who first; he says it was me but I say it was him. LOL! Our first text was on April 25, 2014.We emailed and texted for a couple weeks and on May 1^st he asked me out. I said absolutely! On May 10^th I let him pick me up at my house something I’d never done with an online date before but he really wanted to pick me up and I had no weird feelings about him knowing where I lived. He took me to Benihana’s and top golf, I can’t golf at all but it was a blast. Michael told me that if he scored a 100 that he would give me a kiss and he did, it was the sweetest first kiss of all. He dropped me off at home and we have been together ever since. The next day I was talking to mom about the date and she was shocked, you see her and my dad had the same first date 25 years ago. I knew that this was something special when I heard that but I had no idea how special. My mom, my best friend suddenly passed away three months into our relationship and Michael was my rock, he stuck by me through the worst event in my life and I knew that I loved him. On August 3^rd I told him I love you and he without hesitation said it back. November 21^st we moved in together and on May 8^th, the weekend of mother’s day and our anniversary on bended knee he asked me to be his forever, he knew that weekend would be had without my mom and he wanted to make it happy. It was important to him that he surprise me because we had been talking wedding for a little bit. So he woke me at like 1 am and asked me to come to the guest room, I thought something was wrong with one of the dogs. I get to the guest room door and inside it is lit up with glow in the dark stars, all over the room. On the wall it spelled out “Will You Marry ME”? I said YES of course, he really did surprise me.  I can’t wait to start out lives together, we are truly meant for each other.
