Haley & Dustin ~ Acadian Village Engagement Photography ~ Lafayette Louisiana Photography

I had a wonderful time shooting Haley and Dustin’s engagement session at Acadian Village in Lafayette. The morning of the shoot, the weather forecast showed rain that would begin right at the time our session was supposed to start. So as I drove to Lafayette, I prayed, “Lord, just give me 45 minutes with no rain, I can do this, just 45 minutes.”   Sometimes I forget that you get exactly what you ask for……….and exactly at 2:45 the bottom fell out and it started pouring. We got trapped in the rain and ended up huddled on he front porch of one of the older buildings. Of course what else is there to do when your trapped by the rain but take photos………and dance a little in the rain.
