Paige and David were married at The Chicory in New Orleans on a beautiful January day, surrounded by friends, family, and some loud cheers from across the street at Mannings. The cheering came at the perfect time…right when Paige and her father made it to the end of the aisle, the music stopped, and he was about to give her away to her soon to be husband…….and everyone fell out laughing. Those moments can’t be scripted and it was in true New Orleans fashion that the cheers were not because the Saints won, but because they fought hard to come back at the end of the game. It reminded me that marriage and life is like that sometimes….it’s not always about the win…..the true victory is the fight, the never giving up, and those who are always willing to cheer you on regardless. Paige is one of those who cheers. You saw it in the friends and family who were there. I smiled to myself when she told me her dress was simple…..that it was because she couldn’t commit to beads and lace long enough to pick a dress like that…..the truth is, she is such a vibrant, beautiful person that things like lace and beads could never measure up to her truth. She looked simple stunning and it is amazing clients like sweet Paige that make every second of this job so beautiful and enjoyable. David is truly a lucky man and Paige is one lucky girl to have someone who sees her as the diamond she is.
