St. Martin De Porres Catholic Church was a stunning backdrop to the joining of Mallory and Micah as husband and wife. What a story these two have. They both joined and were matched by three different dating sites on-line. But each time they simple talked via text or calls but never could work up meeting face to face. Until finally they met at a cousin’s house and their lives changed for ever. Now with a gorgeous daughter, amazing group of family and friends, and the sweetest most humble spirits, they have started their journey in this life together blessed and highly favored.

While the day turned out to be amazing, it started out a little rough. A torrential downpour lead me to wrapping up in a shower curtain to get myself and my gear inside to where Mallory and her girls where getting dressed. It was an interesting start for sure. It wasn’t long though before the rain moved on, the sun came out, and the birds begin to sing….ok, yes that last part may be a little over the top, but lets leave it at, the weather changed for the better for sure.

After the beautiful touching ceremony, everyone headed to the Cash & Carry for the gorgeous reception. Rodrick and his team knocked it out of the park as always. To top it off, the groom Micah, one of his groomsmen, and the best DJ in the business, Dustin (with Mobile Sounds) played and sang for everyone at the reception. Beautiful real Cajun music. It was wonderful.  Mallory and Micah headed out in a shower of rose petals and the very deepest of well wishes from everyone present. Rain or not, it ended in a perfect day for sure!
