In life negativity will always come. People will push you down, they will talk about you, and criticize your mistakes. You will feel alone, lost, and abandon. It’s life, and it is a roller coaster ride.

But……

You always have a choice. You can choose to let the negativity, mistakes, and judges of your life cause you to be overcome. You can let them steal your joy, your laughter. You can let them harden your heart, you can put up walls to keep everyone out……or you can choose the opposite.

You can choose to take that negativity in life and let it be a stepping block to a new you. How? It’s not easy but inside of you somewhere is the strength to realize everyone who faces adversity can be an over comer. Over comers take what is thrown at them and create a stepping block out of it. Sometimes it is nothing more than a desire to show those around you that you are more than what they see, sometimes it is just the desire to never let them bring you down to their level. Truth is, judgmental people are miserable, jealous people are miserable, angry people are miserable, and people who can never simple give unconditional love and support….they are miserable. Misery loves company. It’s always your choice to let them sink you into misery or to use what is thrown at you as a bridge, a stepping block out of the muck and miry that is misery to find and become who you are meant to be.
