I met this awesome group of artist at a recent wedding in the Baton Rouge area. They blew me away, and because of them I came up with a great idea to not just link the vendors at each wedding in my blog post, but to pick the ones that really leave an impression and do a spotlight post each week featuring a new vendor. Whoop whoop.

Here is a little write up about the band that Mary (who plays a mean saxophone peeps!!) was kind enough to provide.  They do travel and if your looking for a live band…they should be at the top of your list!!

REWIND BAND

We’ve been around since 2006. Rewind consists of 8 members, including
a 3 piece horn section (sax, trumpet, trombone), both male and female
vocalists, keyboard, bass guitar, lead guitar, drums, and a sound
engineer.  Our members have over 135 years of combined experience in
music.

Musical genres/styles include, but are not limited to: Top 40/Pop,
Funk, Motown/Soul, Rap, New Orleans Jazz, Rock, Country, 50’s, 60’s,
70’s, 80’s, 90’s…etc.
We have plans to write original music in the near future as well.

We not only focus on being interactive and fun during our
performances, but we take pride in performing with a high level of
skill and professionalism.

We offer full music packages for weddings that include: Live ceremony
music (multiple options),  Second Line Brass Band for nola parades,
Jazz Band for Cocktail hours, and Rewind for receptions.
