Faith and Frankie had a beautiful ceremony at the gorgeous St. Joseph church on Tulane Ave in New Orleans, Louisiana with the reception following at the Chateau Country Club in Kenner Louisiana. It was a beautiful wedding that I will always remember with a fond smile.
I watched his face through my lens as she began to move gracefully on her fathers arm down the aisle toward him. His future wife. His friend. His love. He was overcome and it was all he could do to try and refrain from simply sobbing out the overwhelming love that over came him in that moment. Because these two love each other in such a deep, beautiful way, in a way that leaves others wondering if they have yet to even scratch the surface of love. It is a beautiful thing, to witness, to see. It reminds me of my own relationship. It reminds me to be thankful because not everyone is so blessed to find that beautiful love. It should be cherished. Always.
It was a moving ceremony that revolved around their love story and the hope that everyone present held for this beautiful couple. At the reception the crew at the Chateau Country Club took amazing care of not only the bride and groom but the whole wedding party and when they hit the dance floor, the reception turned into a night of huge smiles, joyful hugs, and keeping the dance floor hopping. Toward the end Faith’s family danced to a traditional Arabic song in honor of her Syrian heritage. It was one of the most beautiful heartfelt moments of the evening. Then off they went with a little 2nd line, a lot of cheers to end their wonderful day, and a sweet final blessing from her brother.
Faith & Frankie,
You are simple amazing, both in spirit and in heart. You complement each others grace and humbleness in such a way it is easy to see you years down the road still being inspiring to others. Oh how I pray you are blessed in every way, with all my heart. When life changes course, and it will, it will become hard, to teach you to be strong, remember your safe place to fall is into Gods arms and hold to each other, hold to your faith, and it will carry you through. Build no walls around your heart, love so whole and so completely that even when you are heartbroken, you are so understanding of the power of your love, that you know you will become even stronger on the other side. And laugh, laugh a lot, joke and flirt, and touch and hold and be held.
Much love to you both!!!
